Travel blues

I am itching for another trip. Last year this time I returned from an amazing trip.. here are snippets of my favourite places

St Pauls village, along the French coast line .. it was like a fairy tale, tiny narrow streets, cafes on every corner and cave galleries.

Nice, France. Warm summer nights, a never ending street party on the beach

Novi Sad, Serbia.. where the ice cream is as good as in Italy.

 Florence, I loved it there the most. Everything about it was amazing. This place has heart

Rome! When i think of rome I think of pizza and cocktails.

Beautiful Venice. Getting lost in the streets of Venice at midnight and feeling safe despite the freakishly tall buildings and narrow streets.

Hong Kong.... the city of lights and interesting food. Made for an interesting stop over.

We saw a lot more and visited many more cities on this trip, but these are the ones that really stood out. Now that it has been  a year since our trip I am itching for another one. Where will my next adventure take me?

Hallway Inspiration

I have hallways on my mind.

Our hallway will be long, with high ceilings and narrow so I have been looking for the best way to decorate it as well as make it look warm and welcoming.

Love the pictures, the bench.. but would prefer hidden shoe storage perhaps something like in the photo below:

This little IKEA shoe cabinet is a winner. Narrow, sleek  and hidden storage. 

love the idea of a photo wall.. I want our cave to have pictures and art all over !

but i love the idea of a bench as well .

Wicked

Cave Progress:

The Cave has a roof. It was really nice to see it with a roof but I can't wait till they do the brickwork. Ok, I can't wait till its done but watching the progress is fun none the less.

I went and watched Wicked . A whole 2.5 hours of awesomeness.

It was better then I expected.

and I wore my cat dress and I thought while I am at it, I might as well combine it with some mouse shoes

I purchased some mason jar mugs for tea which i stashed in the cave chest ッ

and 

This awesome wine holder.

Mr Caveman and I have experimented with a lot of wines but it wasn't until we tried Rose wines in France and Italy that we realised there is no point pursuing any other wine. Rose is simply the best.
